Wispact Beneficiaries and Advisors Map
Over the past 18 months, Wispact has been developing a new long-term strategic plan to assure that we continue to efficiently, responsibly and effectively fulfill our mission. We’re proud to announce that our newly adopted strategic roadmap strengthens our ability to provide high-quality, compliant, and affordable administration of special needs trusts while maximizing our impact across Wisconsin.
A Purpose-Driven Approach
At our core, we remain steadfast in our purpose: to provide individuals with disabilities access to essential financial resources that enhance their quality of life. We empower our beneficiaries through advocacy, connection, and resource allocation, ensuring they have more choices and opportunities.
Key Strategic Priorities
Our strategic priorities guide our efforts to maximize impact and ensure we fulfill our mission efficiently and responsibly. Our updated priorities include:
- Explore utility and implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve efficiency.
- Expand awareness of Special Needs Trusts in urban and rural areas, reaching diverse communities across Wisconsin.
- Build a culture of equity and inclusivity within our organization and the broader community.
- Develop an organizational structure that provides greater independence for the Wispact Foundation.
- Initiate a strategic collaboration and/or partnership model within SSA Region 5.
Comprehensive Data-Driven Decision Making
To build an effective strategy, we conducted extensive internal and external data gathering, including:
• Internal Assessments:
- Desk review of historical documents
- Leadership interviews (Executive Director, Foundation Director, Board Chair)
- Staff focus groups and workplace perception surveys
- Organizational capacity mapping
• External Assessments:
- Surveys evaluating beneficiary and advisor satisfaction
- Feedback from elder law attorneys to improve service delivery
Commitment to Core Values
Our strategic plan is deeply rooted in our values, ensuring that every decision aligns with our mission. These guiding principles include:
- Accountability: Providing the highest quality experience for our beneficiaries
- Advocacy: Ensuring rights and needs are met through information and resources
- Collaboration: Fostering strong relationships among beneficiaries, board members, and partners
- Compassion: Prioritizing kindness and empathy in service delivery
- Inclusion: Ensuring equal access and diverse perspectives
- Innovation: Creating forward-thinking solutions for evolving challenges
- Integrity: Maintaining professionalism, ethics, and trustworthiness
Vision for the Future
We envision a future where our beneficiaries experience an improved quality of life through effective trust management and financial security. By reinforcing our commitment to transparency, innovation, and community engagement, we are well-positioned to expand our reach and enhance our impact.
With our strategic roadmap in place, we are set to strengthen our services, advocate for our beneficiaries, and continue leading in special needs trust administration. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by providing financial security, choice, and opportunities.
